Organisation of Workshops and a Seminar

The European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law is organising the following Workshops and Seminar:

1. A workshop focusing on System Audit Requirements, On-the-Spot Checks, Audit of Operations and Statistical Sampling on 19th and 20th October in Berlin, Germany.

The purpose of the workshop is to familiarise participants with the current regulations and provide them with strategies which will enable them to comply with the Commission’s requirements. The workshop agenda covers a variety of issues relevant to all three authorities involved in the auditing of EU Funds.

2. A workshop on the Management of EU Funded Projects “European Requirements & Financial Responsibilities”, on 22nd and 23rd October 2009 in Berlin, Germany.

The aim of the course is to learn how to plan and implement projects according to the EU funds regulations and how to improve the project strategies to ensure a better implementation performance. It shows the legal and financial responsibilities of the lead partner and other partners. It focuses also on challenges of work in the international environment.

3. A practical seminar on the Evaluation of EU Funds, “Improve your Toolkt and the use of Evaluation Results”, on 29th and 30th October 2009 in Berlin, Germany.

This practical seminar focuses on the proper evaluation methodology. Experts give an overview on evaluation in the current programming period. Experts present and discuss the results and experiences of the final reports 2000 – 2006. European Commission requirements of ongoing evaluation measures in the period 2007 – 2013 are covered and discussed. The toolkit consisting of baseline indicators, impact indicators or result indicators will be introduced. Best practice and successful case studies from different Member States enrich the programme flow.
